The documentary film “Koj mi ja mati vodata/Who’s Been Troubling My Water”, co-production between LOKOMOTIVA – Centre for New Initiatives in Culture” – Skopje and Croatian organization Macedonian-Croatian Association for Promoting Cultural Values and Relationships “Spectrum” from Zagreb was filmed between September 20 and November 5, 2006 on locations in both countries among which in the cities of Skopje, Štip, Zagreb and Zadar.

Film crews from the two countries cooperated in realization of this project.
The Macedonian part of the crew consist of: Gjorce Stavrevski- director; Dimitar Popov- director of photography in Macedonia; Igor Popovski - sound operator; Dorijan Milovanovik - editor; Darko Popov - production manager in Macedonia;  Davor Spiroski - line producer in Macedonia and Croatia, script developer and researcher; and Biljana Tanurovska, executive manager of Lokomotiva.
The Croatian part of the crew consist of: Ivan Ramljak - assistant director; Josip Ivančić - director of photography in Croatia; Damir Šimunović - sound operator; Daniela Stilin, Katarina Karakaš Spiroski - production assistants, script developers, research in Macedonia and Croatia and Bojan Stilin production manager/line producer in Croatia.

Logline:
By analyzing everyday activities and interests of individuals, residing in surroundings different from their places of origin in terms of society, religion and culture, the film covers the issues of identity, relationship towards homeland, mobility of young people and relationship of the system towards an individual.

The film is expected to be finished by the end of 2006, and the premieres in Zagreb and Skopje will be followed by additional events- public discussions on the issues of identity, after which the film hits the festival distribution.

The project was funded by the European Cultural Foundation from Amsterdam, and supported by the British Council in Macedonia through its programme Creative Aid and Skopje Cosmos ltd.
